ABOUT US

The Creative Company Conference BV is an initiative founded by Dutchman Rudolf van Wezel in collaboration with and South-African Ravi Naidoo. 

The conference goal is to connect creative thinkers and doers with business thinkers and doers and to promote more business sense in the creative industries and more creativity in business.

Van Wezel has more than 20 years experience in the international creative industry as a book and magazine publisher. He founded and is Chairman of BIS Publishers, Frame Publishers and Mark Publishers.

The first Creative Company Conference in 2008 was organized in close colleboration with the team of South-African Ravi Naidoo. Naidoo is an entrepreneur in the creative industry in Cape Town. He founded and is chairman of the media company Interactive Africa and of the Design Indaba Conference, which is regarded by many as the leading design conference in the world. It was awarded with the Best Global Conference Award 2005 by the international conference & meetings organization, EIBTM. 

The CCC grew under the leadership of Van Wezel in 2009 into an independent conference 100% owned by Van Wezel with over 500 visitors and an amazing speakers line up. From 2010 the CCC moved to the City of Haarlem and is supported by the development program New Energy on the Creative Axe.

The CCC project was started in 2007 with co-initiators Design Management Netwerk (DMN) and Visual & Individual Design Experiences (VIDE). And with the help of founding partners like De Baak Management Center of VNO/NCW, Amsterdamse Innovatie Motor and Creative Cities Amsterdam Area. For its inaugural event in 2008, the CCC was granted a subsidy from the Creative Challenge Call (OC&W and EZ), a national initiative which is supported by the Netherlands government.
