RedesignMe.com is a web 2.0 community of creative consumers and designers that collaborate with companies online, during the development of new products and services. This new way of product development is called co-creation (or crowdsourcing) and is getting more popular quickly in financially challenging times like these. Maxim Schram (CEO) of RedesignMe shows how a community of tea-lovers generated over 100 innovative ideas for Sara Lee's brand Pickwick in only 3 weeks.
Bio
Founder and CEO of RedesignMe Maxim Schram was trained as a computer programmer and cognitive psychologist. Between 2004 and 2008 he teached “experience design” at the famous Design Academy in Holland next to his career as consultant.
In 2007 he founded RedesignMe.com originally to collect usability problems and help designers & companies understand the need for transparant interaction design.
